Ford is redesigning its most important SUVs this year and the new 2020 Ford Explorer is certainly no exception. The new 2020 Ford Explorer comes with a standard 2.3-litre four-cylinder that delivers 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. An available 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 that delivers 365 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. In the ST model, the engine delivers 400 horsepower.

"We did everything we could to find out what customers wanted," said Bill Gubing, Chief Engineer of the Explorer. "We have formed focus groups, browsed online forums and analyzed social media posts to find out what customers think about the strengths and weaknesses of the current Explorer. We then found solutions to improve everything. Each modification of this new model has been inspired by our customers."

There’s more technology in the new Explorer as well. Safety is improved with the new Ford CoPilot360 suite of active safety technologies, there’s access to Wi-Fi, and even a new central touchscreen that makes navigating the Explorer’s numerous functions very easy.
