Here is the refreshed 2023 Ford Escape

The 2023 Ford Escape was recently unveiled sporting a new front-end design and offering three new trim levels as part of the more dynamic ST-Line.

A modernized exterior

The 2023 Ford Escape benefits from a modernized exterior design that looks fresher and more dynamic than the previous model. Being inspired by the electric Mustang Mach-E, this new appearance ties the Escape to other Ford models more closely and allows it to be easily recognizable in a crowd of other compact SUVs. The main changes are the new grille, front bumper and LED headlamps which transform the appearance of the Escape by making it sleeker and more refined.

Three new sporty models

Drivers who want a sporty-looking SUV will be happy to know that the new 2023 Ford Escape will not only offer one new ST-Line model but three. Indeed, the ST-Line will be declined in three different trim levels that will share most of their sporty appearance while differing in terms of equipment. The styling changes made to the ST-Line models, such as the mesh grille and the exclusive black wheels are other elements that make the new Escape differentiate itself from the previous version.

The same four powertrain choices

Despite these changes, the 2023 Ford Escape continues to offer the same choice of four efficient and powerful powertrains as it did before. This means that the standard engine continues to be a 180-horsepower 1,5L EcoBoost unit, with a 250-horsepower 2,0L four-cylinder being offered for more power. Drivers wanting more efficiency will still be able to order the Escape with the hybrid or plug-in hybrid powertrains. With 210 horsepower under the hood, the plug-in hybrid version is the second most powerful Escape despite it being able to drive up to 60 kilometres on purely electric power. The all-wheel-drive system continues to be offered in order to improve the capabilities of the Escape over difficult terrain, especially during the winter.
