The 2022 Ford Ranger

The 2022 Ford Ranger

The 2022 Ford Ranger is a capable compact pickup that can take care of all of your driving needs, including off-roading and towing.

Multiple configurations

The 2022 Ford Ranger is available in a multitude of configurations which allow you to make your own Ranger unique and distinctive. Three trim levels are offered, XL, XLT and Lariat and an option package is available for each one. The XL can be had with the STX special edition package, which adds special appearance elements, cruise control, the anti theft alarm, the power mirrors and the remote keyless entry system. The XLT can be ordered with the Tremor off-road package, which consists of an off-road tuned suspension with FOX dampers, the terrain management system, the electronic-locking rear differential, the underbody bash plates, the 17-inch off-road tires and the off-road screen in the instrument cluster. This package is also available on the Lariat, the top-of-the-line model, in addition to the Black appearance package or the Chrome appearance package, which change the colour of outside elements such as the wheels, the bumpers, the grille and the mirror caps. Th XLT is also available in a choice of cabs, the SuperCab with a 6-foot box and the SuperCrew, with a 5-foot box. The XL is only offered with the first choice and the Lariat comes standard with the second.

The capabilities you expect from Ford

The 2022 Ford Ranger is one of the most robust and capable compact pickups on the market due to its engineering that benefits from Ford’s more than 55 years of experience in building the best-selling truck in Canada. This is proven by the capabilities afforded to the Ranger by its standard EcoBoost engine and 10-speed automatic transmission, which allow it to tow up to 7,500 pounds. The standard shift-on-the-fly 4x4 system also contributes to the Ranger’s appeal by making it much more capable in difficult terrains such as snow, mud or sand than a 2WD truck.
