The 2023 Ford F-150 Lighting is Now More Affordable

If you are in the market for a capable and technologically advanced electric pickup, there is good news from Ford as the 2023 F-150 Lightning will now be more affordable and more readily available.

Indeed, Ford has made improvements to the Rouge production complex that will allow it to manufacture up to 150,000 units of the electric pickup per year, three times as many as was possible before.

This means that waiting times will be shortened and more drivers like you will be able to take delivery of an F-150 Lightning over the next few months.

In addition, this surge in production will lead to lower prices, a change that has already begun.

Indeed the 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning is currently available with a starting MSRP of $59,000 for the Pro model, which was previously priced at $74,000.

Moving up to the XLT Standard Range brings a reduction of $10,000 for a new price of $69,000 and choosing the same model with the larger 131 kWh battery (XLT Extended Range) comes with a price tag of $85,000, down from $95,000.

The better-equipped Lariat also sees the same amount taken off its MSRP when equipped with the Standard Range battery for a new price of $80,000, while the Extended Range version gets $9,000 off, for an MSRP of $99,600.

The top-of-the-line Platinum comes standard with the larger battery and its MSRP reflects its impressive array of luxury features at $115,000, which is $6,000 lower than before.

Of course, in addition to one of the most impressive new vehicles on the market, all of these price levels give you access to Ford’s BlueOval Charge Network.

Even if it is currently the biggest public charging network in North America, Ford is not resting on its laurels as it will expand the BlueOval Charging Network by giving its customers access to 12,000 Tesla Superchargers across the continent starting next year.

If you want to use your 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning for work purposes, the Ford Pro division can also help you setup charging solutions that work for your particular needs, whether they involve charging at your company’s headquarters, at job sites, or even at your employees’ homes.
