The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E Will be More Affordable in Most Trim Levels

The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E Will be More Affordable in Most Trim Levels

If you are looking for a Ford Mustang Mach-E this year, you will be happy to hear that the production of this electric SUV will be increased and its price lowered in most trim levels compared to 2022.

Up to $8,500 less than before

The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E will see the price of some of its trim levels cut down by up to $8,500 this year. Starting with the Premium which is the next level up from the entry-level Select, these price cuts will make for a new MSRP of $64,995 for the rear-wheel drive version and $67,245 for the AWD model. Considering this same version was offered for $75,745 in 2022, it will give you a lot of value. The next model up is the California Route 1 which retails at $79,120 and offers the highest range of any 2023 Mustang Mach-E with up to 505 kilometers on a charge. Finally, the GT Performance Edition remains the top-of-the-line model but it too receives a price cut in 2023, bringing the MSRP down from $97,495 to $92,745.

Eligible for federal and provincial rebates

Reducing the price of the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E has made more models qualify for both the federal and provincial EV incentives, thus making them even more affordable than before. Since both the federal and New Brunswick rebates use the same criteria for eligibility, both can be applied to the 2023 Mustang Mach-E. Indeed, qualifying requires an SUV to have a base price of $60,000 or less and upper trim levels are included until their MSRP reaches $70,000. This means that both the Mach-E Select and Premium models can earn you a $10,000 rebate ($5,000 federal and $5,000 provincial).

An increased production

In addition to lowering the price of many variants of the 2023 Mustang Mach-E, Ford has committed to increasing its production rate in order to fulfill a greater number of orders this year than in 2022. This has been made possible by the improvement of some supply chain issues that still limit the maximum output of automotive factories around the world.
