What you should know about the new 2024 Ford Ranger and Ranger Raptor?

If you are in the market for a mid-size truck, the brand-new 2024 Ranger and its Raptor version should be at the top of your list due to their technology, their performance, and their modern design.

A new yet familiar appearance

The 2024 Ford Ranger benefits from an all-new interior and exterior design that makes it impossible to mistake for the previous model while still being recognizable as a Ford truck at a glance. This is because the new Ranger is influenced by both the larger F-150 and the smaller Maverick in terms of design. This makes for a more rugged appearance than before, especially at the front, which receives an entirely new grille treatment. If the regular Ranger is not rugged and dynamic enough four you, the new Raptor variant is bound to satisfy you. This model follows the F-150 Raptor and the Bronco Raptor by adding a host of distinctive elements such as all-terrain tires, a lifted suspension, underbody skid plates, and a unique black grille that spells F-O-R-D.

More features than ever in a Ranger

While the previous generation of the Ford Ranger was already a well-equipped truck, this new model pushes the boundaries even further. This is why every 2024 ranger comes equipped with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10,1-inch infotainment screen, and a 4G modem that enables over-the-air updates. If you want, you can also order the new Ranger with items such as a 12,4-inch digital instrument cluster, a largest-in-class 12-inch touchscreen, and a wireless phone charger, among many other technologies.

Improved performance and capabilities

The 2024 Ford Ranger is more competent as a truck than ever due to improvements in its frame and suspension design, but most importantly, due to its modernized engines. Standard is a 2,3L turbocharged EcoBoost engine that delivers 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque through a 10-speed automatic transmission. New for this year, the Ranger can also be ordered with a more powerful 2,7L EcoBoost twin-turbocharged V6 engine that boosts the output up to 315 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. If you are looking for the ultimate in off-road performance, the newly added Ranger Raptor version won’t disappoint you with its 3,0L EcoBoost V6 good for 405 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque combined with locking differentials, raised suspension, and unique Fox dampers.
